Gillte clearly doesn't want guys flirting with women.

It's sexual harassment only when the guy is deemed unattractive by the woman.

It's an attack on masculinity at its finest, I have a major problem with that thought.

Don't forget to teach your son on how to change his tampon - just like his "dad".

This is the part I don't get. Like, why sure Gillette feel the need to preach to me? Who the hell are they? Why must everyone have to get on the altar all the time?

I'm actually Hispanic. But the media says that's white so maybe I am?

I get pissed over shite really easy, at the drop of a hat actually...but I didn't see anything wrong with the commercial. They weren't pushing for men to go piss in girls bathrooms, or boys to dress out in girls locker rooms, or help hide illegal mexicans, or resist arrest just cuz

Me too. She loves it. Fortunately they haven’t told you about it yet.

So, your son never sees you and your wife argue or disagree? That’s not really great either. Kids need to see that people can disagree and argue and still love each other.

I’m not saying break out the rolling pins and skillets, but a disagreement and how it’s handled/resolved is actually a good thing for them to see.

You can be respectful and still maintain your own ideas and opinions. You can be respectful and still defend yourself and others when required.

Being respectful is great. Being a doormat, not so much.

The problem is, most men raise their kids that way, but Gillette makes it seem like we’re all a bunch of rapists.

I didn't get that impression from it, but I also don't think advertisers think 90% of households are gay or interracial. Liberties get taken in order to prove a point or to be inclusive/diverse/blah blah in 30 seconds.

Again, the worst part for me was when they told us to not let boys be boys. The harrassment and bullying stuff is fine. That should be stopped. But boys/men have fought and will fight forever. It's just how guys are wired.

Right. What about when a girl grabs my phone, puts her phone number in it, then calls her own phone from it so her number is in my phone? Is that not blatant harassment?

Your avatar objectifies women, and set unrealistic body standard for women.

(See how ridiculous this all is?)

I got no problem with treating people with respect bla bla bla, it's the demonization of white males that is getting old.

I just want to meet the person responsible for this ad so I can ask them how they thought it was a good idea to make s commercial insulting their target consumer by playing up every negative stereotype about them and then end it by telling them to “do better”.

Then I’ll advise them to go back to whatever college gave them a degree in marketing and demand a refund.

No, that’s you being a fricking pussy. Take your phone back, delete her number and block it. Grow some balls.

The message itself isnt terrible for the most part , but it's pretentious and condescending. I dont need to be preached to by a consumer products company. The relative handful of men who might benefit from hearing this are overwhelmed by the ones turned off by it.

Ads are all about impressions, basically meaning views. His job was done and done well.

I would guarantee this idea was approved by or maybe even thought up by the top of the chain.
