Bruh...I'm 43 wife is 45. Last kid left for Air Force back in August. It's like we're 21 again! Well, more like mid 30's. Go and do what we want and where want. Plus, saving a bunch of money!!

You are almost there. Once you yell at someone for driving too fast down your street and tell someone to move their car off your grass, you are there..

You are closer to 50 than you are 30.

Let that sink in

I'm officially old

One of the first things that made me feel old (I'm 41) is about 6-8 years ago when I realized I was older than Bruce Willis was in Die Hard.

He was only 32 in that movie.

It's weird too because I see some of my friends I grew up with on FB and whatnot, and they look old as frick, but I don't feel like I look like that. Getting old is a strange feeling.

Heh, you're not really old until you walk past a mirror and think who is that?

I'm now 68 and haven't slept through an entire night in ages. I'm usually up at least twice a night to pee but after a good cup of hot coffee in the early a.m., it's time to visit the porcelain god, so I'm good on that end.

Oh, and 40 isn't old by any means. I really didn't start feeling my age until around 65.

As long as you wake up before the bowel movement, you’re still reasonably young.

Yeah I didn't feel old at 40 but now that I'm 50 - it does seem different and I find myself looking at that pending retirement one day!

Happy Birthday - and as a 44yo, I concur - although my weight loss journey doesn't allow for alcohol, a good book, movie, woodworking project and my wife and Dog - I'm as happy as can be.
