I heard she played a mean pinball.

How do you know patterns of light reflected to your eyes represent another human being?
How do you know sounds your ears pick up is another human being?
This may seem obvious to you but most animals with sight cannot identify themselves in a mirror. It's not a given

What happened when Hellen Keller fell down a well?
Screamed her hands off

Her senses of touch, taste and smell were extremely strong. He brain was exceptional. Her curiosity was intense. Her desire to learn was virtually supernatural.
Once a system was in place to help her learn, read and communicate, she became more accomplished than most ever dream of. She has helped countless others and inspired millions.
Her story is well documented.

You need to do a little research as to how her teacher got through to her instead of just assuming your opinion.

o someone smarter explain to me what is the first step to teach someone blind and deaf to communicate, hows it done?
ESP. Extra sensory perception. The sixth sense.

When I had Twitter I used to follow the Helen Keller page and they were pretty clever sometimes.

Yeah, it's all a little too perfect. And what did Helen tell us, once she'd figured out how to communicate? Nothing but a bunch of leftist crap.
Everyone listen to the nice deaf-blind woman! Voting rights for children! Welfare payments for everyone!

I didn’t read 5 pages but you guys do know she wasn’t born blind and deaf right? She got sick as a young child and that did it. So she knew what people and things were before she went blind and deaf.

How did Helen Keller's mom punish her?
By rearranging the living room furniture.
That's bullshite.
They punished her by leaving the plunger in the toilet.

My thoughts too. With no hearing or vision, how do you even place meaning behind words or objects.
You jumed too far ahead in their challanges, they would first need to know that humans can communicate, once they somehow figure out that there are other beings beside them selves. If they have no knowledge of words and language what is their thought process, what do they dream if they have never seen are heard anything?

I think that it is naive to totally disregard the possibility that her story was embelleshed.
Posted on 1/17/22 at 6:54 pm to rocky mountain way
At some point she probably even assumed everyone else around her was deaf and blind too

I wonder if Helen Keller ever got laid.
----------
I read some where she was a lesbian. Just don't they to tell me she was born that way. Her options were simply much too limited.

if a person is born bilnd and deaf, how are they taught to communicate, what language is, that the unknown thing tapping on their hand is another human being. Explain it to us.
Well, if I remember correctly, in the movie The Miracle Worker, Helen Keller’s teacher has a breakthrough at a well when she teaches her what water is by signing in her hand at the same time Helen can feel the water. So Helen understands for the first time that there is a word (or a sign) that means something.
