I notice if you go to restaurants in Baton Rouge wearing a mask, people are starting to look at you funny. Something changed in the last week.

Still seeing plenty of masks at Wally on Range, Chase bank, and restaurants around Denham.
Home Depot on Range is the only place I’ve seen more non maskers than maskers.

As long as it keeps moving forward, I’m good with it.

Covid is over. You and the other Branch Covidians will have to accept it and find something else to fill the gaping void in your life that doesn’t involve inconveniencing the rest of us.

They won’t. They’re never gonna let this go. They need something to fear. It validates them
In some way.

And that’s not a problem until they insist - as
They have- that every one participate along with them and do as they do.

Come to Mandeville. It has felt mostly normal since everything reopened in April/May!

I have been to Texas a bunch for work and it feels no different than louisiana

Masks everywhere in the big cities, and no masks in rural areas. Houston and Dallas are still packed with masks and required most places

But at least it isn’t the state requiring it, but it still feels like China in the city

The correct term is Masked Covidian.

Cultist of the Most Holy Church of the Masked Covidian is also acceptable.

Birmingham is a mixed bag. You have some places that don't care about the mask and some places that will literally not even let you go to the bathroom or stand up without it. I cannot wait for these coronavirus fear spreaders to find a new personality trait

You never had to wear a mask while seated.

Even though there is no mandate most people around me respect certain places like HEB and wear one. It’s no big deal either way really.

Not true at all. I live in Houston close to downtown. And only very select places care or even have signs anymore. And those places make sense like a Museum.

Conversely I was asked to put on a mask while stopping to get a drink driving through Morgan City last week

Yeah, the Buc-ees in Baytown was plum serious about masks just a few week ago. Can’t believe they just said frick it all of a sudden.

Well the mask mandate got pulled 2 weeks ago yesterday. Buc'ees usually aren't in the cities so I would be surprised if you have to wear one in there. I'll be at one tomorrow when i drive home. I'll have a mask in my pocket and wear it if need be
