Id love to, but the expense is just too much to justify it “just because “ when my family has so many other needs.

After I retired in my early 50’s I went back to school. Just to add another hobby to my day.

Getting degree at the age where you’ll be dead before you pay off loans may be the way to go

Not the same as a college degree, but I recently started a class in Excel. In my job I received Excel documents but never needed to manipulate them in any way. I stumbled across a beginners Excel class on the internet net and clicked it to see what it was all about. It intrigued me, all the capabilities of Excel, so now I’m taking a beginner class to intermediate class.

School is easier when you are older. I got my BSChe from Colorado Scool of Mines after I retired from the Marine Corps

I don’t know if it would benefit you much financially at your age. But if you want to learn/want to prove you did it, I say go for it

My wife is 48. She dropped out in ‘96 to raise and homeschool our two daughters. She started back this year and finishes up in May. Her biggest complaints, the kids do not engage with each other, there’s no sense of teamwork and it’s just assumed that you are familiar with all of the latest technology, i.e Canvas for everything and Adobe Audition, specifically for her major.
