Holy hell. I am so so sorry, Pisco. The south and the nation stand with you my friend. I survived a direct hit from a massive deadly hit in Bossier City when I was a kid and it’s really the only fear I have. Do your best to console and comfort those in your community and let us know what we can do. My most sincere thoughts and prayers.

You had enough warning to head to a church to shelter? Was there a siren and do you head there everytime it goes off? Do many in that area have tornado shelters?

Holy crap. That town may never recover from this. People may just pack up and leave. Usually, a small town like that doesn't have much of an anchor to it (industry, jobs, etc) so many people may just leave. Sad because small towns can be awesome places.

Prayers to you, Pisco.

So much loss and devastation. That poor community. God be with those who lost so much. Man, that’s surreal

Samaritan's Purse is sending out three crews, one to Mayfield, one to Edwardsville IL (Amazon warehouse) and the third to Monette (nurshing home).

Governor Beshear is here and said DHS is sending in the heavy equipment. Likely to become a Federal Disaster Area. They’re working around the clock to restore water and power.

Has the rain and wind at least stopped out there for yall?

I finally went to bed around 6 or 7 here in Lex....it is STILL pouring and insanely windy out right now.

Glad to hear you're safe brother.
