I don’t think the protest are really aiming at fixing racism, really just focused on police brutality which is merely a result of a bigger problem. Why of all the races in this country, is there only one that’s the target of police brutality? We’re not allowed to ask that question. Instead we’re putting bandaids on one of of the results of the root problem. Bandaids don’t last as long as the root problem persists.
What is the root problem?

Really, I think it’s unplanned pregnancies. More of an issue in black communities but really effects all races. Imagine a society where you had to make a Dr’s appt., pay a co-pay/visit fee, and have some type of minor procedure to have a baby. How different would our country look. It would benefit crime, racism, abortions, divorce rates, single parent homes, with embryo screening could eliminate genetic disorders like Down syndrome and autism....it’s really hard to imagine all the benefits.

Population control is the answer? Wow!

When someone gets a bad note or something is written on a receipt and it makes national news you start to wonder just how prevalent it really is, especially when you find out most of those are fake.

Giving every child that’s brought into this world a home where they are wanted is the answer. Raising our children, holding them accountable in school and at home and being able to set an example for them is the answer. There are different ways to accomplish that. I suggested one; as radical as it seems, I do think we’ll get there in my lifetime.

Government/Insurance birth control? Let others decide if you are qualified to have a child. Wow! I thought I lived in the USA. The land of the free...

That would be a great question for the end of one of those Miss America contests. Make the final 3 finish that sentence.

Didn’t say anything about having to be approved to have a child. Simply have to make conscious decision to have a child and take action to make it happen. Simple concept. Like getting a new car.....people take care of their cars, they don’t accidentally buy six of them from different dealers and then realize they can’t afford to put gas into any of them. Not sure why you’re having trouble understanding. I get if you disagree with it.
You don’t take exception to the idea that the root problem is unplanned pregnancies though. Why is there only one race that is the target of police brutality? Why does that race fill our jails and failing schools and neighborhoods? Until you identify the root problem and fix it, racism will exist in this country. These protest target police brutality. We’ll put bandaid on it and it’ll last for a few years but cycle back until we address the root problem. Those who aren’t willing to have that conversation aren’t worried about ending racism, they’re just enjoying the spectacle.
