I mean shite....it’s not like women my age don’t know the odds against them.
But not everyone’s life follows the same path. I didn’t marry until 6 months before my 35th bday. Wanted to build a marriage first and just enjoy being just my husband and I. Was told by my dr I would have no issue conceiving. None of us had any idea of all the medical issues I had (and likely have had all my adult life).
Hell im being more responsible than most young parents. Both of us tested for various genetic disorders before we started trying so we didn’t pass on cystic fibrosis or something to a child. Went over family trees with a genetic specialist. Because of my family history (brother and sister mentally challenged from a genetic disorder) I wanted th make sure there was no chance I could pass that onto a child.
I know young parents that didn’t do that and now they have special needs children. That blood tests of the parents would have shown they were gonna have high odds of that happening.
Bad outcomes can happen with pregnancies no matter the age. Women of all ages can be infertile.

I became a dad the first time at 43. Not really that hard.

You will. Pray to God.
My grandmother had her last kid, my aunt in her 40s
