Those look a hundred times better than a lot of the tacky shite out there. Call me crazy but I think a lot of people (including me) don’t want to walk around in miniature gay pride parade floats

With black people? I know a lot have started wearing skinny jeans but baggy clothes are still very much a thing.

Answer this honestly. How many black people do you even know?

What is a federline type?

Seems like a white baw/frat way to say white boy dressing black.

I see white guys all the time wearing sneakers or chucks when they’re casual. They don’t look like a “federline” type to me

Not really, it's just the same white people as the ones that live there.

You sure do know a lot about Savannah. I mean it is the same size as Monroe and all.

I guess. I would not have called it common for people wearing basketball shoes besides blacks guys and white guys one would say "dressing black." Exceptions of course though. But it definately still seemed to be more "urban wear" and less "trendy wear"

It just goes to show you that you cant put people in a box. This thread is funny to me because I’ve never felt like I fit in a box. I grew up surfing and skateboarding and listening to punk and hip hop and wearing clothes that reflect that. I still do but a hopefully a more adult version. I’ve had people on more than one occasion I dress cholo style...which is funny because it’s obvious they’ve never known any real vatos if they would say that.

Dress how you want. Only in the south is it such a big deal to just wear something you like.

I got some bad news for you, Shane, you are not their target audience. In fact, if you wore them it might decrease the brand’s/style’s value.

Lot of overlap there. Especially with the vintage sneakers.

I agree. I am a pretty big enigma

Grew up very rural/country, then moved to br

I love wearing my old boots and jeans. I also consistently go out in gym short and my camo crocs with socks

But I also love wearing slim fit suits and chinos with nice chukka boots

It’s winter so I’m in any combo of slim fit jeans, chinos, chucks, or oxfords depending on the day.

Chukkas are my next shoe purchase.

Some guy earlier in the thread is remembering what kind of shoes he wore in the 80s. I don't even know what kind of shoes my current most-worn pair are without having to get up and look.

They were professors.

I had a good year in ‘89-‘90, I made the All-Academic team.

I consider that academic now.
