I have the free version and it’s not that hard to fast forward on podcasts. They have a 15 second forward button and you can hit it 4-8 times to get through most ads

Check out this chart. It shows music sales through the years, it spiked with CDs. And dropped with streaming.

It was slowly growing with recods.

Exactly. I don't know why anyone would pay for it when you can easily fast forward any ads. I didn't know so many people here actually paid for it when you can get it for free.

It's not "free". You have to either listen to the ads or go through the effort of fast forwarding through them (I guess).

I make the choice to pay some money so that I don't have to do that.

What something costs is not necessarily what something is worth.

I’m not a quitter. I’ve still got my Columbia House subscription. They got me with those 7 CDs for $1 back in ‘92.

I might have to deal with 3 ads during an entire joe Rogan podcast that lasts 2-3 hours. It doesn't even force you to listen to them. It literally takes like 3 seconds to fast forward to the end of them. It's barely even a distraction.
