Yea, you don't change how people recognize your brand. Even if I'm wrong, changing your name won't change your image

Change international to ghetto and Mexican. Last time I went to an IHOP, we were the only people who were A white and B without a bastard child.

And this is park cities, not the ghetto.

I used to go to the IHOP when I was a young drunk in Fayetteville. Never had the urge to go to one sober.

I have a feeling this is a New Coke moment for IHOP.

So sad.

Looks like they are promoting a new line of burgers and trying to get free publicity. Mission accomplished.

Still gonna serve pancakes.

IHOP/IHOB really varies from location to location. I have been in some that have had great food and service, and others that have cold, terrible food and slow service. No consistency at all.

No. They have changed signs on restaurants and are moving forward with a new menu. Their sales the past 3 years have been flat so they are trying something new to save the chain. This isn't just a publicity stunt.

Dumb as shite. Who’s gonna go to ihop for burgers? There are plenty other burger places. Seems like a bad idea.

The menu on their website is the exact same and all the burgers are under “limited time offer”

To lure in diners after the breakfast rush, IHOP is adding seven new burgers to its menu.

The company has rebranded itself "IHOb" to promote this line of burgers, however the name is not a permanent change.

IHOP has had burgers on its menu since it first opened in 1958, but its identity has long been tied to its wide variety of pancakes and breakfast offerings

However, the company won't be IHOb for long. On Monday, the company announced that the name change was just a promotion for its new line of burgers.

We're always going to have pancakes on the menu, we're always going to be IHOP, but America loves burgers, and America loves IHOP, and we thought this was a fantastic combination to bring America’s burgers to an iconic brand like IHOP," said IHOP President Darren Rebelez during an appearance on "Fox & Friends."

last time i went to one it was slammed and they had a bunch of crazy shite on the menu. Had a really good omelette, but youd have to use like powdered eggs to frick that up.

Like I said before, I don't care what they change it to. Momma called it IHOP, I'ma call it IHOP.

Guy on fox says they are not changing all of the signs and other marketing

He said it’s an “offer” for a while. We all fell for it.
