Yea I was looking from Wichita to New Orleans which is usually super expensive. It’s $120 or so I think right now for May 30 which is when I have a buddy of mine getting married back home (assuming we’re out of this by then.) contemplating whether to hop on it now or wait a couple more weeks to see if I can snag it for under $100.

LAX to MIA was $31 yesterday.

This is two weeks out and there is no cancel or change fee so why not?

Why would you is the better question. I live in Santa Barbara and am down in LA this weekend at my gf’s house. There isn’t shite to do out here. Everything is closed here too and we’re all sitting inside just like the rest of the world.

Well, we actually did go sit on Malibu Beach and drink yesterday, but I’m not sure it’s worth flying across the country just to do that.

We did talk about doing a staycation and just posting up at a resort bc those seem to be up and running, so getting a room with a view and boozing all day while staring at the beach could be fun. But if I was in Nola I’d find somewhere closer to do that.

lol exactly. What do people think is going on out here? We’re bored as hell just like the rest of the world.

Keeping my eye on flights July-on. Was supposed to go to Spain but that’s likely out. I’ve been thinking about getting a beach condo or house over the next few weeks and just quarantining on the beach rather than sticking around DC. Airbnb prices seem to be half off right now.

lol nice, yeah if that’s your plan then a trip out here may be worth it. We were checking out prices of some swanky arse resorts and they’re all pretty affordable right now. Since we’re all working remote, a lot of ppl are just grabbing a room to get out of the house and enjoy being waited on.

I haven’t heard of any major airports in the nation closing.

Did you think MSY was closed?
