If you want to brave a plane the fares seem to be getting nuttier. $90 roundtrip MSY-LAX

This is two weeks out and there is no cancel or change fee so why not?

Because those people are going to stay on lockdown a lot longer than 2 weeks from now?
LAUSD pushed back to May 4 as of right now. Doubt businesses will be opening up in 2 weeks there.
I was in LA the 12th-16th. They shut everything down at midnight the night of the 14th/morning of 15th. There was nothing to do once that happened.

I also looked it up for late may and got the same price. Late June was $2 more The point was, with no cancellation fee, why not take a shot if there is a trip you hope to try and take.

My friend was telling me to come visit. He lives around Philly and there's a roundtrip flight for $28 this week.

What you don’t realize is those flights on the way home can be canceled. So, then you’re stuck there. Happened to me last week.

Bought some tix last night for fall trips assuming this will be done by then.
IAH to SFO for late Sept are $83pp each way. Doing Napa.
Looking at booking Cabo for mid Nov with those tix going for $145 pp each way.
If not done with this crap by then, no change fee.

I booked on United app. Google flights usually a good alternative for other airlines.
