Thanks!
I'll add I'm getting annoyed with their rising costs, but it is still better than cable and better than Dish/Direct.

the digital home antennas are good sometimes for the 3 local news stations.
It all depends upon where you live.
My 90-year-old MIL lives in Oklahoma City. She has no internet or cable.
I put an antenna on her TV, and she gets 30+ OTA channels.
Most of them are like QVC or religious broadcasters.
But she gets all the local TV stations and their digital sub-channels.
She has one channel that plays nothing but old westerns like Gunsmoke, which is her favorite.

You have to click manage subscription and there should be a little bar on the next screen with the offer. I did it and got a confirmation email.

The area where I live does not have cable. When I moved here, the only option for TV was Dish or DirecTV.
DirecTV was costing me $250 / month.
We finally go AT&T Fiber in the neighborhood 2 years ago. I'm on the 1 Gbit plan. I dropped DTV and switched to YouTube. The Fiber / YouTube fee is a bargain compared to what I was paying for DTV.
This. It is definitely cheaper than local cable or satellite for me. And I only keep it during football season.

Good grief. Id just pay for cable at this point.
To get a plan comparable to YTTV and the other services, you are starting at $125 a month (they finally stopped the 1-2 year contracts), then you have to rent the boxes and pay extra for the DVR. Want 4k, that will also be extra.

I can’t get fast enough internet service where I live to cut the cord and stream or I would. I’m capped at 50 mbps.
Well actually I can, but it would cost me nearly $10K in infrastructure improvements to get it. Not worth it to me.
Check with your cellular provider. You might be able to get much better speed than that with an "internet only" cellular plan.
I started out on a line-of-sight microwave system were the best I could get was 50 mbps. I was then able to subscribe to Verizon 4G Internet and was getting over 100 mbps for less money than the microwave service.
We finally got fiber, which was a godsend.

wasn't able to get it. I did a chat with them and they're giving me $10 off for 6 months
I got the same offer via chat

They asked where I found the promotion at and I linked this thread!
That was probably unnecessary

T-Mobile isn’t offered where I live. I switched from ATT (25 Mbps max) to Verizon (50 Mbps max).

Well, I downloaded iwebtv app for ios. Blocks all pops and viruses when going to certain websites to stream all movies, ppv, sports, TV series from now and back then. Just costs me what I pay for internet. I do have though, paramount and Netflix

I live on 20 acres 10 miles from the nearest town. Fiber is a pipe dream.
I have 50 Mbps through Verizon. Can’t do better than that

Have you priced that lately? It’s even more expensive.

I found this on a Sooner board. It worked for me, so I'm passing it along.
Seems there is an unadvertised discount available to existing YouTube TV customers.
$33 off the Base Plan subscription for October and November. The fee will revert back to normal after 2 months.
If you are interested in saving a few bucks, give it a try.
Deal Instructions:
Sign in and Go to your YouTube TV settings page in a web browser
Under membership > base plan: Click manage (to the right of $82.99)
Select Accounts: You should see an offer for two months at $49.99 per month
If you have the offer accept it. $33 discount will apply each month for 2 months.
Appreciate you
