they were so good too. I would walk to the gas station after football practice in my pants and half T-shirt with my shoulder pads over my helmet carrying them by the face mask and get 2. I would down the first to impress the coeds and then slowly sip the second.

The hotels (motels?) were popular but the restaurant attached to the hotel was always a place we stopped on road trips. The clams were great.
