My great grandfather was 100% Sicilian and my great grandmother was from Genoa but when they immigrated to NYC in the late 1800's he was listed as black and she was listed as white. This was not uncommon back then.

My entire mothers' side of the family is Sicilian and they all have green eyes from the Normans. There are very very trashy but still white

Lived in Honduras for a year and a half. Didn’t love the cities, but where we lived, was pretty nice.

If I had money Singapore would definitely be on my list of escape hatches WHEN the shite hits the fan in the US if I still lived there. I currently live in Costa Rica and I consider it more or less a white country. A whole lot of Blacks whose ancestors came there from Jamaica to help try to build a canal across CR back in the day. It flopped, and they all live on the east coast (Caribbean coast). The Ticos keep them at arm's length, to say the least. Very few ex-pats live on that side of the country.
