I understand frustration but not when it's aimed at harming others.

In some of those videos/gifs you cannot prove that the driver was not in fear. Add to that if a child was in the car. The protesters appear to be hitting windows even climbed on vehicles. Mob mentality can cause a flight mentality.
If I'm driving and I just try to idle through? I'm fine until a window breaks. My wife driving with my son in the car? She may EASILY panic and punch it.
You can't blow through protestors at 45 mph and flip them 10 feet in the air, but you don't know each drivers story. What if they are driving to pick up kids? Going to hospital? Doctor? Healthcare professional on call being called in?

To add more to this thread than opinions.... I saw in a video posted yesterday that protesters blocked the highway with their vehicles as well. That being a case of forward thinking protesters, WWYD then? Assuming you have to get into a wreck to try to get through, and hope your vehicle isn't disabled... what's the threshold of driving through?
