The bus is my everyday driver. Lots of room and very versatile.
The Prius is really only used when taking the wife on a nice date to Bennigans or Texas Road House, or if I am trying to impress work people.

Is it just basic yellow with standard features or have you added custom mods?

Of course. Get a real job and buy your wife an SUV.

Haters gonna hate. The wife was very anti van but when she saw how smooth it drives, how easy it was to get the kids in and out, and how much storage room u have she came around pretty quick.

I'm not defined by what I drive. I don't have a mini-van but I'd rawk that bitch up and down the coast if I did.

Yes. If you drive a minivan you have given up on life.

We just bought a 2013 Honda Odyssey before the end of the year and drove it to Orlando and back. Holy hell, that thing is amazing compared to our CX-9, which has been our family vehicle for the past four years. Even with twice the crap we normally pack, we still had tons of room. The ride was smooth, gas mileage was great, and once we got there we could haul the whole family plus grand parents around.
With two little kids and expecting to add a third this year, I'm super happy with the purchase. I don't think I'd buy one just for myself, but anyone with a family is lucky to have one.
So I guess to answer your question "have you given up on life?", my answer is no. I love my life, it's fantastic.

My wife drove our Odyssey for 6 years, was great when our kids were younger. When my oldest son got his license the minivan became his. He gets a lot of shite at school for it but he doesn't complain cuz it gets him where he needs to go. We're getting him a car for his 18th birthday, I think he has been humbled enough

Make sure the backseat is large enough. Going from sex in the van to sex in a car can literally cramp your style.

Wife has a odyssey and I have a tundra. It's actually a pretty sweet ride, i drive it often with no restraints.

Have you actually seen a Honda Odyssey up close lately? I know most people think of them as a "typical minivan" bc I did too, but these arent your parents Aerostars anymore. They are loaded out, really simple for the kids to pile into, and very smooth and fuel efficient. Plus the amount of cargo room is really nice. I can take whatever seats out that I want and have even more storage than what I coukd have before.
We traded our Pathfinder in for an Odyssey and Im surprisingly very happy bc I never thought Id see the day that we had a minivan. We have three kids now and theres no way we would have had the room for them in the pathfinder when I needed room for three carseats plus whatever cargo we had to carry.

I don't like them. Simple enough?

They're really good at carrying all kinds of things, even canoes.

I like to think of my minivan as a cargo vehicle. You know what else was a cargo vehicle? The millennium freaking falcon! So I am essentially Hans freaking Solo. That's how I live with myself. Also, Ive got 4 kiddos, it's kind of necessary.
