I would think cell phones would make it harder. One would always be texting you 'wyd' or wanting to have an on-going text that you'd have to respond to at some point.

Seems like in today’s world, it’s both easier to do (with technology), and easier to get caught (also with technology like the chief got busted by facebook.)
Based on the replies so far, there’s a group who say yes, a group who says no, and the “been there done that and would never again.” Probably about the same percentage as in the past.

Me and my assistant were just talking about this. I'm married and no way could i or want to. I can't imagine the amount of stress at all times that the gig may be up at any time. But, people like that get off on the thrill so that is just something i just don't understand. Even if i were single, i wouldn't want to juggle that many in my 40's, maybe 2 tops.

The police chief story has me wondering - how many of you would juggle multiple women if you thought you could get away with it? They would just call my office to get in touch with me. We had a switchboard with 24 hour operator. They could call me by FM radio if I was in range. I also had a large FM Motorola Pager ( this was before “ beepers”were common )
Then I would make my way to a pay phone. I remember when calls were a nickel,dime and a quarter.
The operator would then patch me through to any number I wanted through a WAT’s Line.
All worked good. Actually banged one of the operators after talking to her so often.

I was talking to the wife last night about it. i told her not to worry, i can only disappoint one woman at a time. She laughed a little too much...
