I was born 50 years too late.
I like those days better, I'd be 90.
Your childhood would've been spent during the Great Depression and then you'd be drafted into WWII. Have fun with that.

Probably 2000 so I could do high school over again from junior/senior year and then re-do college.

1955.
Turn 18 in 73. Go to California. Get to experience some freaky hippies.
Move to Miami from 75-85 for early career and get the South Beach flavor.
Move to NY in 85 and make some bank.
Leave NY right before the .com bust
Probably move to some sleepy seaside town in the Pacific Northwest or New England and go after the milfs while I right my book.
From there, I'm not so sure

1940, would have been too young for WWII and Korea, would put me finishing college as a engineer around 1961 which would be the ground floor entry point for the space program. That in my opinion was probably the most interesting and exciting era to be an engineer, rockets and going to the moon trump personal computers, video games and the internet. And as a added bonus would be too old for Vietnam draft, but young enough to experience what was the greatest musical era ever.

Now I know a 1948 and three 1949 year-model men really well who each had a good run. Two had to go National Guard through Law School and the other two had deferments and then high lottery numbers. They had an OK time but getting trim was tough before they went off to college.
1956 to 1964 was the sweet spot, imo.
Mores for High School kids really opened up in the early 70s.

I'd like to have been 18-20 in the mid 60s. 1946-1948. Women were looking good, people weren't fat, cool cars.

The same year as my parents. 1949. They enjoyed so much. 50's 60's 70's 80's and 90's. The epitome of our civilization.
