1964, missed Vietnam, lived through the height of American power, had some of the best music ever, 18 to drink, etc

I was born in 1990, but would have been ok doing 1978 or so.

78/79...so that way (being born in 1981) I would never get lumped in with the damned millenials...I have absolutely jack shite in common with someone born in 89...but tons in common with those born in the late seventies

A) everyone was poor so nobody cared
B) that also is what's known as the greatest generation, much better than what you see this country has turned into now

Not 1926 you Crackhead, pick 1936 to 1940, you miss WWII, Korea and Vietnam.
The work ethic out of those folks is/was pretty good.
I still say '56 to '64 FTW.

I'd pick maybe about 500,000 years from now because it would mean the human race has survived longer than I have ever thought it would.

Yes, if you survive WWII you get to call yourself a member of the greatest generation. Congratulations.
They're called "greatest" Bc of all the bad shite they endured and overcame.

The thread isn't "Name the Year Someone You Admired Was Born In" or "Name the Year Your Grampy Was Born In".
1926 was a fricked-up birth year to VOLUNTARILY ask for.
HE would tell you to pick another date.
From 1920 to 1926 are only negatively topped by being in the UK or France or Germany and asking for 1897.

1991 - 25 years old. A good age I think, as long as I have $ in the bank and a good job
