Slovenia. The most beautiful country I've ever been to. Austria like but much cheaper. Friendly people. Love it.

Does Alabama stay fresh?
Don’t know. I’m in Idaho. Haven’t lived in Alabama since 2004. But then again I lived in Huntsville so not really Alabama anyway.

I've lived in both Germany and Italy and while they are great to visit, and both have good people (and some not so friendly....more Italy IMO) but no I would not want to live there or any other European countries permanently.
Even with our faults and the way we are heading as a nation, we are still undoubtedly the best country on the planet.

Netherlands is really nice, I liked it a lot there (not just talking about Amsterdam)
It’s clean, most people speak English, good economy, central location to things, cool bike culture, good food, pretty women, pretty fit people. Id move there in a heartbeat.

France is experiencing problems similar to the US but on a much bigger scale, and with Muslims.

Spent two weeks on a project in Bucharest, Romania in my mid-20's and was surprised by how awesome it was.
Clean, modern, reasonably priced, cool architecture, gorgeous women, and it was very quiet and calm every night.
Never felt like anyone there was turning their noses up at me for being a dumb American like in some other European countries.
