In consensual intercourse, both parties control where the sperm goes, for all practical purposes.
Unless women don't know that sperm is the natural byproduct of intercourse.

It is your sperm. You know when it is about to be released. If you release it in a woman, you're consenting to all of these fricked up consequences.
Saying that a woman should have made you wear a condom is just a baby back bitch way to avoid the accountability that comes with sex. Unless a woman inseminates herself artificially with your sperm, I've got no sympathy for a guy who is "stuck" with a consequence that was 100% preventable by actions he completely controlled.

It points out the hypocrisy of it all, but it shouldn't be used to justify allowing a man to opt out of fatherhood. A significant chunk of problems in this country can be attributed to fatherless homes. I'm not in support of anything that makes it any easier for a father or a mother to opt out of parenthood.

Well obviously it's a shite justification for opting out of parenthood, but it does a fantastic job at illustrating a double standard.

The murder of a pregnant woman being treated essentially as the murder of two people illustrates the double standard with abortion as well.
It is a fricked up system, no two ways about it. Women have a lot of the power, but not all of the power, which was my original point. A man can quite easily avoid this entire situation.

I actually agree. Abortion should never be birth control.
I know of a wonderful bright honor student and honor band member who just got a full ride scholarship to a great school. Her mother wanted to abort but luckily was too far along and put her up for adoption after birth instead. The father who is now a professor at Yale has never saw her. Yet the girl grew up with a wonder family oblivious to being unwanted. Who was luckily saved from death by the law against late term abortions. That really changed my mind on abortions.
While I am still against abortion I am also against them being fully illegal, but they shouldn't be used as late birth control.

The fact is that women are afforded privileges now that were given to them in a time before when things were different.
In today's world, if feminism and super equality are what they crave, then by all means, let's add them to the selective service, make them work as much as men, even while pregnant, take away paid maternity leave....lets even the playing field.
Personally, I think women generally have a pretty sweet gig going on these days, so I don't get the bellyaching about the "inequality".

Sure, but the easiest way to avoid a pregnancy, other than abstinence, is avoiding letting your sperm enter her vagina.
I'm with you on how shitty it is for the guy, but these threads often have a sentiment that the guy is caught in some kind of trap with all of this. A guy who doesn't want a child can have plenty of sex and never have a child based 100% on his own decisions.

How does any of that change the fact that it was your decision to finish inside of her? As I've said earlier, men have the ability to opt out of parenthood by opting out of finishing inside of a woman. Is it fricked up that women can make that decision way later? Yes, yes it is. Is a man powerless to prevent an unwanted pregnancy? No, no he's not.
