You're missing the entire point of the argument. We agree with you that if he had thrown hands up he might have lived. But he can't be punished for fighting back when the other guys were the aggressors. You can admit this was murder, correct?

He jumped the guy with shotgun. You didn’t see that? He ran around, then sprinted into the street and started punching the guy.
I know everyone is saying he ‘was boxed in’ but...he brought it from being fricked with by dumb white guys to one dead...two in prison for life.

This will be the key to the entire case.
This and the timing of the first shot. Travis McMichael shoots before Arbery makes physical contact with him. That's damning to the shooter IMHO.

It's murky. You have to have "immediate knowledge" of a crime. We don't know the facts on this case yet. We do know that you can't make a citizens arrest for someone you 'suspect'.

If two guys in a truck with guns are in the middle of the road and one hops out the truck to stop you...it’s absolutely reasonable to feel threatened and defend yourself.
