He did fake monologue during rehearsal so they couldn't pull him.

I didn’t laugh at all.

He’s had better. I also haven’t been following the Kanye stuff.

Monologue was great and his house of the dragon skit was the first time I’ve actually laughed at a SNL skit in a while. Tyrone Biggums Targaryen lighting a crack pipe off a dragon LOL.

This reminds me of that episode of Cumtown, where Nick talks about the writer that attacked him on Twitter for making fun of Chinese New Year. She went by the name “literal porn” when she obviously meant “literary porn.”

Funniest part about it is, she actually does porn now

It was pretty good, made a couple decent comments about Trump, and has a lot of white liberals riled up saying it wasn’t funny, but they laughed also

I saw the "Potato Hole" sketch on YouTube. Chappelle plays a blues player and the way too cheery in the morning show hosts keep asking him what is a potato hole? Eventually making lewd jokes as you would imagine.

Well, they found out.

It definitely had a feel of a Chapelle skit, rather than Chapelle in an SNL skit. His timing and delivery were hilarious.

I also enjoyed the one where Mikey “fills in for Dave” in a sketch about Black Heaven.

SNL is terrible now.

For the most part it is, but I do like their weekly updates.

The cold opening and weekend update were the weakest parts of last week’s show, imo

I'm not sure that is how being dismissive works.

Look, I am a huge Chappelle fan, but have you watched him at all? It really is hard for someone like him to be able to deliver his most brilliant 15 mins of comedy on SNL.. But don't say its his most brilliant 15 mins just because its his most recent.

IMO, I think Bill Burr's opening monologue on SNL was better than Chappelle's. And like I said, I am a huge Chappelle fan.

I think the stones to do that monologue material about Jews running Hollywood on the largest stage out there for stand up comedy has to factor in. Joking about that topic to their face… I wonder what Lorne Michaels reaction was.
