Stipulated.
Now let's discuss how stupid and in poor health Californians must be to have these restrictions and still suck at not getting covid relative to lots of other states.

Friend,
I do my best not to take pictures of other people. But let me tell three vignettes.
The first comes from North Beach. Mother and I went there hoping to run into Super Saint, because he said he often goes to Golden Pizza. We went twice, once during the day when the crowds were thin. The second trip was at night and it was as crowded as the French Quarter during Mardi Gras, with at least half the attendees not wearing a mask.
The second comes from Glide Memorial Church. We helped hand out Bibles in the neighborhood to the large homeless population. As you could guess, many of these people were IV drug users and they had zero concern for masks or social distancing. A respiratory virus would move through that community fast.
The final story comes from Great Meadow Park. As you can see in the distance there is a large group of people gathered closely together. Someone had thrown together an impromptu concert, and no one there was masked nor socially distancing.
Don't even get me started on the sardines stuffed in Ghirardelli. California was in no way locked down.
Yours,
TulaneLSU

Again, then the real debate is, Is the treatment worse than the disease?
Yes. Yes it fricking is. Stop the stupid fricking shutdowns already for a virus with a 99.9% survival rate.

Progressivism is a disease which believes failure only means you didnt go far enough. They'll double down on shite until most small business is crushed.

Because there is 15 million people in California ignoring the regulations, regulations don’t work when 30-50% of the population thinks they are dumb and don’t follow them.
So why are they doing far worse than Texas now? I’d suspect even more people don’t give a frick in Texas. Especially if you compare it to Cali.

They're cool with it now though because corporate America has turned a new leaf and it is WOKE AF!

If the regulations work, why is Covid taking over California?
Karma beats regulations.

I live in Southern California. You want the truth? Hispanics generally don't abide by the social gathering restrictions and covid spreads like wildfire in their communities. They also have more health issues post 50 than other groups out here (diabetes, obesity, copd, etc...) They live in poor crowded areas, many in every home, generally have jobs that can't be done at home, and as of last week account for about 75%-80% of all covid hospitalizations in LA, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Imperial counties.
These are just the facts. Not trying to target one group. But they are primarily responsible for the escalating numbers in California.

They don't work, and they haven't worked.
There is a ton of evidence that they do work. California is full of idiots who dont wear masks. My friends there complain about it all the time.
