I think it illustrates two things.

One is a lack of attention to detail. There's a search function at the top of this page. If that's not feasible (not sure why it wouldn't be), then you can just take 30-60 seconds and read the last 3 pages of the forum.

The second is that it comes off as a bit narcissistic. It shows that someone can read something, look at the date of the article written, and then think "oh my god I have to get this news out" because in their mind because they haven't read it and didn't know it, there's no way nobody else has read it. My father in law is like this. Or they read something, don't look at the date at all, and proceed to post it without the slightest clue in the world that it's a month old article.

These things likely don't bother most people. They sure bug the shite out of me. Especially when its repeat offenders who seem to not understand how the internet works and the speed at which it moves.

To be fair the search option on here sucks. It’s like I’m searching parts on b2b.
