Very reliable source told me that Ted and Murphy are really tight and if he beats SWB Paul is back as Chief.
Ted James would be worse than SWB and that’s no small feat.

I have heard he will install Myron Daniel. So either way, not good.

It’s okay Ted.

Ask anyone who keeps up with this: Sid may poll second, can't beat SWB head-to-head.
Ted, on the other hand, can get the blacks that will never vote (R). He also has a good chance with Chamber/Business report crowd. I dislike those slimy bastards, but it is what is...
FWIW, I've voted for exactly 1 (D) in 25 years, in ANY ELECTION

It feels like a 1v1 debate between SWB and Sid would make things extremely clear to reasonable voters. Shame it hasn’t been shown to work that way.
Do wish Ryan Theriot had actually gone through with running.

I heard Murphy Paul is thinking about moving to BR and running for mayor next term.

I said it before- he decided to run once a white police chief was hired…guy only sees things based on race
I went to school with him- what a tool!

Why would he even want to think about doing this

It’s Ted or Sharon. Take your pick.

Like having to choose between eating shite or puke. BR is fricked either way. Both are hard left social justice race hustlers.

Only thing I will say is that if anyone thinks Ted James is going to make sure law and order return to BR then you are sadly mistaken. He is an opportunist and always has been. He will take advantage of whoever gets him where he wants to go. Once there, he will do Ted James things. Kip was an idealist and visionary. He saw what BR could
be become and the path to get there. He didn’t care about the noise around him after making tough decisions. Post Katrina BR is the perfect example of Kip the idealist. Most here are too young to know, but Kip refused to allow the NOLA gangs to run over BR. He allowed the BRPD to do what they needed to do despite The Advocate, Bob Mann, New Mexico State Police or Governor. This city grew and thrived. We need a Kip that is strong willed and can communicate effectively to BR, without caving to those who benefit from the unlawful.
