I’m too old to learn how to use anything other than an iPhone. In fact, while I’ve updated my wife, kids, and MIL to the iPhone 16, or whatever number it’s up to; I’m still plugging along on my 13 because it still works fine and I have everything on it like I like it and don’t want the hassle of having to go in and redo everything.

As a MacBook Air and iPad Pro user, I still prefer my Pixel to an iPhone.
I tried to give iPhone a chance and can't stand not being able to set up my phone the way I want to use it. I also second the notion that Android (through Samsung and Pixels) is way ahead of Apple on advancements. Look how long it took to get wireless charging on iPhone (2017) that was available on Nexus 4 back in 2012.
Samsung has great hardware but I prefer getting guaranteed timely software updates on Pixel.

pretty sure you can automate a complete transfer/mirror from an old phone to a new phone.

People with Androids are the most likely to have actually used both an Android and an iphone and are qualified to speak on the differences.
Most iphone users who for some reason make a big deal about what phone other people have dont realize how much they are advertising themselves as being a sheep.

I avoid Apple products in general because I find they are generally designed to last just until the next product update. Pure fashion over substance.

Put me in this camp. I have had both and I think Android is MUCH better. I bet a lot who scream from the rooftops about iphones have never owned anything else, or at least not in the past 15 years.

If someone has an android, I question if they are just rebels, cheap or do they really like the ability to work into the operating system for more features.

Haha. My Samsung has been 6 feet deep in the bottom of a bayou buried in muck for 30 minutes and works like brand new. My wife and daughters are constantly bitching about their iPhones not working and having to get them replaced.
I think I’ll stick with the Samsung.

I never understood this. I switched to IPhone because of the bubble shaming. Don't see much difference in the phones at all.

When this one gets to where it won’t hold a charge, or the new ones do something so outstanding I just have to have it, I’ll consider upgrading. For now, this one does everything I need it to do.
