I’ve started corporate America in the late 90’s. I had a rep that would snort coke at lunch to get prepped for the 2nd half of the day. Every month I’d hire and fire 3 salespeople. During the interviews I’d walk them through the bullpen saying “whose replacement is this?” I had a sainsation that sold for us for a while. She was as Yat as could be, but when it was time to sell she’d crawl under her desk and speak with longest southern belle drawl.Had a Greek guy that was one of the informants in the Atlanta Gold Club/John Gotti jr fiasco. Got into a fist fight on the sales floor bc my boss didn’t give me spif money after a sales contest.

Now, I’m upper management using align, circle back, bandwidth, leverage, dei, etc.

The former was more enjoyable, but the latter pays a hell of a lot better.

To circle back, should we meet, I’d have the bandwidth to leverage my knucks to align with your wishes.

The women were thin, dressed to be attractive and the young ones wanted to snag/frick someone in upper management. The older women wanted to bang young male workers. America was at its apex.

You’d be surprised how much you would need to learn to be adequate back then. No machines to do the thinking and math for you. No instant communication. Pencil and paper was a necessity and air conditioning was nice if you had it.

The movies don’t tell the whole story. All eras can find plenty to gripe about.

I’m a little busy in another thread, but when we both have some time, let’s make sure to circle up so we can make sure we align on this thread.

Maybe you should think out of the box more. Perhaps you should have a little more buy in and partner with me on the change that we need to advance our goals and achieve synergy.

Perhaps you could circle back with him, and test the waters at a later date?

We can schedule a call to go over my planning deck that we can use to achieve a consensus.
