IF Outer-space Aliens are proven to be true - how will you honestly react?

Let’s assume (BIG assumption) that the declassified “UAP” report coming in June is true and the government isn’t lying at all (they will)...in this dream world, how will you respond to the fact that aliens ARE real and have been watching us?
What would be the first thing you would think and do?
How would that affect your worldview/religious beliefs?
Would your morality go out the window?

I believe they are out there. Just distance and excess raw materials floating around will never allow us to see each other. It would be like an ant colony in Hawaii trying to see an ant colony in China.

I don't know but it won't dwarf all other issues in the way that it should.
Discovery of Aliens should cause humanity to basically drop everything and re-assess what actually matters and how we want to present ourselves. Unfortunately it'll be used as a political wedge somehow.

I believe it to be very likely there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. I very much hope we find them before they find us, because we're almost certainly fricked if the latter occurs.

We currently have a country that is overrun with non-native bird species that are destroying native birds, flying Asian carp that destroy rivers, iguanas and pythons in Florida, invasive sea lampreys up North, nasty arse nutria (RIP in peace Tanden) that should have never been brought here dicking everything left over from the carp, and God knows what else that is undiscovered.
If our species has had any legitimate close contact with an alien species, you can bet your arse that some unknown town in Florida would be overrun by the frickers as we speak.
