You do realize before the Triassic period, West Texas was a shallow sea. Ever hear of the Permian Basin? It was then covered by 1000's of feet of more material. It's fossil record fact.
The fact is, sea levels are going to change. Erosion, deposition, lava flows will happen. It is quite common relatively speaking over 4.5 billion year record. If cities existed the entire history of earth, many would have been built and lost along the way.

The other day I was listening to a geologist speak. He said that from analysis of ice core samples that CO2 levels in the atmosphere were the highest that they had been in a couple hundred million years.
He said that those spiking CO2 levels were recent and it was virtually all man made.

Let the neysayers stick their head in sand and say it's not.
But, in fairness, search Milankovitch Cycles. Climate changes due to orbit changes. But, these are long term changes.

Well - next winter is HIGHLY likely to be either warmer or cooler this winter. As alarmists will say that it is "climate change" - either way, somehow suggesting that the climate should stay the same - always - and never specifying what the "right" temperature should be - I'll just let Mother Nature take care of the actual details.
Since we cannot control the climate on purpose, I find it highly unlikely that we can be messing it up on accident.
On the other hand, we can do things like clean up after ourselves better. I agree with that. But CO2 is not a pollutant. It is a trace gas in the atmosphere that is required for life as we know it to exist on this planet. If anything, a little too little CO2 would be a much bigger, much more dangerous problem than a little too much CO2 is (if you accept the alarmists argument that current levels are).
I mean, we're talking about a few tenths of a degree - even if we assume that humans are 100% responsible for any warming the alarmists say has occurred, and accepting their flawed/manipulated/fudged datasets at face value.
Certainly not worth collapsing the standard of living and dooming hundreds of millions, if not billions of folks to stone-age misery, which will be required to roll back all the progress of the Industrial Revolution. Electricity has been the single biggest boon to mankind ever, ever.

Jeez you make a lot of assumptions.
No, this is the point that I bring up the fact that science has proven that the earth is warming since 1850 means nothing at face value, since we cannot determine the absolute cause. Science has also proven the earth has cooled. Both scenarios during rising and falling CO2 levels. My point is that operating one way or the other on this topic that it is a settled fact like you are doing, is absurd.

It is estimated that man alone has contributes 3% of CO2 emissions on the planets. Yes, volcanos may cause more, but for a single species to contribute 3% of CO2 emissions, that is an incredibly high amount. Pumping millions of tons of it in the air is damaging, but people here disagree with the chemical elements of CO2. Guess it isn't a greenhouse gas according to the brilliant OT scientists.
