If you were to poll high school seniors in the 60s-80s and ask them if they thought they would ever own a house they would look at you funny. They knew they could drop out of school that day and walk over to the local factory/plant and get a job that annually paid 1/3 of the average starter home and maybe 1/2 if they hustled OT. Now they might, and frequently did, find other ways to screw up their lives but the option was always on the table
The house they expected to own if they planned on being a blue-collar worker was not the size nor did it have the interior finishes of a $450k house today. If expectations were the same the prices would be MUCH closer.

He was wrong, but I'm still still support and voting for Trump, again.

The debt is what is destroying us. Republicans and democrats share the blame. Neither party has done anything of note to try and solve shite. They just push more war or gay war.

What a crock of sheet.
I can't believe that there are people that are stupid enough to believe this.
This latest generation is the most clueless & whiniest generation ever.
"Pay off my student loan, give me free health care, gimme gimme gimme".
They all expect to have a McMansion, new vehicles, numerous European Vacations a year, and a Corner Office VP Job by the time they're 30.
They refuse to do any well paying labor intensive job, everyone just wants to make 500k sitting in an office drinking Latte's while surfing the web half of the day.
Gampa G's got this Facebook rant copied & ready to paste at the drop of hat, regardless of the original topic.

Yes exactly
Then we’re in agreement. I think the only way to fix this is limit the amount of terms that congressmen and senators can be in office.
There’s too much bribing/lobbying and too much insider trading going on in congress. They do whatever corporations tell them because that’s what keeps them rich and powerful.
We’re basically a banana republic. And everyday citizens are too busy being tribalistic in their politics to see both sides are fricking them the same.

Your chart only goes to 2020 so doesn’t really give an accurate comparison to where we are today.
Well then let’s look at your chart.
Oh that’s right you didn’t post one.

And yet inflation was mostly low and flat up until 1970. It took off starting in 71. What changed? Oh yeah Gold Standard.
Before the creation of the Federal Reserve, inflation was virtually nonexistent.

Neither of these statements are factually accurate. I suspect you don’t know why the FED was created if you think the second point is true.
