Counting my mortgage and truck, less than $100K. If everything goes as planned, I should be debt free by the time I hit 50.

Yet Millennials are voting for politicians who want more?

It's not a generational thing, it's a government thing and it's going to get worse until the economy crashes. In 20 years the millennials will be complaining about the shitbags in their 20's just like every generation has, and they'll be talking about how worthless y'all are.

Sadly, it's all the generations of voting age that have no problem spending us off a cliff.

Yes, the boomers are a part of it, but millennials have had their hands out, looking for Uncle Sugar to forgive student loan debt and "make college free."

If the people I vote for would win and then do what they say all these years the govt wouldn't be $20t in debt.

But go to the poli board and from the left side it is nothing but "whoopie the person who is going to spend the most is ahead"

Most aren't complaining. Most are keeping their heads down and doing what they have to do to get ahead. But you know, 100% of us are lazy entitled pieces of shite apparently.

Gen X had nothing to do with this stuff going on now.

The baby boomers are the ones running the show and making the laws that have this country in the shape that it's in now.

Millenials really have helped the environment or improve rights or social awareness

Two things that aren't very high on anyone's list.

I'd bet the amount that they've "helped the environment" is negligible and I don't give a shite about social awareness. IF someone doesn't like you or your lifestyle, frick em. No need for "movements".

I'm a millennial and just want to take the opportunity to say I make $500k, my wife makes $70k as a teacher, and we both drive early 90s Camrys. We keep socking money away and live in a garage apartment. Both of us graduated college debt free because we worked through school. I work 110-120 hours a week.

I just can't understand why Millennials and boomers suck so bad guys it's a joke

I would reply but I'm afraid it might offend you. You may just need a timeout in your safe space.

I'll tell you what it is. Its mostly people who were forced to raise themselves because mom and dad both had to work. We didnt have all the distractions: internet, cell phones etc..for at least most of our lives. Yes you can live without them. We actually played sports as kids: baseball, basketball during the summers. We mostly had about 6 channels to watch for our early teens well unless dad had a huge satellite in the back yard. Sure college was cheaper than today but we didnt have Tops scholarship to help pay for it. Hell Gen-X is the just do-it generation. We the barry Sanders of life. We score a touchdown(go to work) and we give the ball to the ref we dont dance and say look at me!(Millennials). I'm not saying we all like this but thank god we are here because we are the buffer between two prima donna's (boomers and Millennials)!

I'm 30 so not sure what "generation" that falls into. All I know is that so far it has been incredibly easy to advance faster and farther in life compared to whiny bitches like you. So for all the 20/30 something woe is me life isn't fair complainer types - I want to personally thank you for making it incredibly easy to succeed in life. You set the bar so low for our age group that giving just a bit of effort, showing up on time, and shutting the frick up and listening to your superiors now gets you promoted. (IE work for it don't ask for it)

To be fair to the OP, it entirely depends on what industry you're in.

I'm in construction. The last company I worked for I was the youngest person there by almost 20 years. The majority of people in this industry are still 50+ years, although its getting better. For things to really even out, the boomers are going to have to finally retire to open up positions for people my age. Its still an old mans business.
