AtL- still has large corporations
New Orleans - only thing left is tourism and the past & future honor roll students are destroying that.
The city is rotting away.
Very few people are willing to move to Nawlins, unless you are from here.

Both suck but at least New Orleans has an interesting history and culture and cool architecture. Government and crime problems aside, the city has great character.
Atlanta really has no redeemable qualities, especially now that the Braves are in Cobb County.

Atlanta sucks but they have a good job market and their suburbs are probably the best in the South.

I know a lot of the people on this board don't like ATL just because they have a lot of black people there, but I don't understand the hate on ATL.
Ive only been there three times, but I never had a bad experience and they have a lot of attractive black women.
