Except they will be getting the name, SSN, license of each person.
Take it back to the ballistics lab, match shell casings at the scene of crimes, bang- make an arrest.
Also, they are probably going to report each person to the IRS as receiving a payment, so the IRS is going to come for their cut if you don't pay "the man" when you get that money

Way back in the day, I had a friend that worked at Gibson's. I visited him at work and there was a very large cardboard box full of pistols. The state (i think) had came down hard on businesses selling "saturday night specials" - very cheap pistols. The manager told me he would give me the entire box for 100 dollars. Turned him down.

I don’t see a problem with some old lady selling back guns that her knucklehead grandkids will end up stealing anrobbing a tourist with.
This is the scenario you come up with?

One of the OT that lives in N.O. ought to do us a service and be the middle man. If there is no limit he would make a killing and so would we!

Zero risk of a robbery going down.

I disagree. When I walk out of there with $500 and no gun? What's to keep someone from following me?

I have an old Benjamin. Think they’d buy it back?

In comments it says New Orleans residents only
LOL.. tad bit contradictory
Is it no questions at all ? or do you have to provide your name and address? which defeats the whole purpose of this program

Why would you have no gun?

I don't know if you've heard about this, but you have rights and stuff

Says no questions asked.
Not sure how’d they know that if it’s truly no questions asked

I'd sell them a few old guns and go buy a new one.

I assumed that meant they wouldn't check whether it was stolen or not.

The no questions asked policy is for how you obtained a gun or if you are legally allowed to own a gun. It's not like you walk in and the police aren't allowed to speak to you.
The majority of people participating in the program have old guns laying around the house that they just don't know what else to do with. Local thugs aren't strolling in and just tossing over weapons used in crimes

If that’s legit I have about a dozen single shot shotguns
Is this only for New Orleans residents?
Seems like this will be exploited fairly quickly
