1. Board from the back. It would be much faster and efficient.

2. Get rid of the 3 3 configuration. It sucks.

They would stop purchasing planes that nose-dive into the Pacific

They would also clean up fecal matter from the seats before a passenger sits in it

yeah I'm sure they set out to purchase planes that were going to cost them millions of dollars in lawsuits after they crash and kill a bunch of people. brilliant business plan if you ask me

pretty whiny assed OP, imo, can't board narrow bodies from the rear using jet bridges and 3 & 3 in narrow bodies not going away, a more sensible solution is to put your cell phone down and not try to carry your grandmother in a steamer trunk as a carry on to expedite boarding, same as deplaning, if everyone just stayed seated(and off their phone,) until each row in front of them stood up, got their steamer trunks and moved, it would expedite that process as well

No company actually "cares" about customers any further than is required to make the most money possible.

I think he means call out the passengers in the back to board first.

And I agree.

People that rush to deplane ahead of the rows in front of them should be shot.

Not sure how you do this since most of the popular planes in existence are this configuration. I don't know how else you could configure them.

airlines try to do that, that's what the boarding group number on your ticket is for, but with the me first/rules are for everyone else society we have, that isn't a very effective approach, airlines are always looking at how to improve things, it's the passengers that don't seem to want to cooperate

Airlines used to do this. Problem is when they started charging for checking a bag people all want to get on first to make sure they get an overhead spot. No one wants to check a bag for $25

People in the back of the plane are those without status. People with status believe they should get overhead space.

Solution is you "rent" an overhead space for the flight then no one else can take it. Measure the bag and that's the space you get. That's a crapton of work though

when the overhead space fills up, or is considered filled up, to expedite boarding, most airlines, a least the big ones, offer to check your bag for free

I'd pay $25 bucks to NOT check a bag. If you check a bag for any trip a week or less I know you aren't a seasoned traveler and are a chump.
