Not necessarily. Women who are educated and have good jobs, but live in a shithole area, have a hard time finding a mate of similar socioeconomic background. Many stay single a long time because they are smart enough to not marry a leach or loser.
This seems to be especially true of black professional women. Many of the black men their age are not prizes.

This. Wife and I were each 32 when we married (first marriage for both of us). She was career focused and independent. Didn't want any kids. She hasn't changed after 15+ years of marriage.
