18 years old me would have been pissed I changed my career trajectory. I went from pre-med to chemical engineering when I was 19. 18 yo me was a fat, squishy blob. Doubt he could kick my arse now.

1) Going to McNeese for my degrees
2) having 3 awesome kids and surviving some major surgeries and a high grade dysplasia diagnosis. And being 60 lbs lighter and in good shape.

arse kicking: Wasting four years of my life on a meteorology degree.
Im now teaching high school math and having to waste more money trying to get certified when I could have just done education undergrad.

I would kick my 18 year old self in the balls because he is fighting too much and doesn’t realize he will soon commit two felonies and very narrowly escape getting caught to only end up in the military to get out of town for a while.
He would be proud of me now because i ended up pretty dang well and live very comfortably

They’d be pissed at where I work, as I had convinced myself I would never work at the same employer as my dad. Things change when the market for your degree drops due to the economy.
OTOH, they would be pleased that I am much happier and self confident than I was at 18. That wasn’t a great time in my life for a few reasons.
