Has this information been confirmed? Source?
Also, if true, he’d likely still have significant bruising, maybe broken bones, along with cuts, no? The murders took place 11/13 - it could be his reasoning for wearing gloves to the supermarket. But wouldn’t students have noticed? His father? I presume he wasn’t wearing gloves 24/7.

Not necessarily. Especially after a month to heal.

Cuts from stabbing someone else?
And it's a sick thought, but if her face was smashed that badly, it might be from him kicking her over and over.
This stuff is just next level sick if true.

think this 100% came down to the DNA first,
I’m confused as to how they honed in on this Bryan guy as the suspect. If it was DNA was he already in CODIS for some reason? Basically my question is if they zeroed in on him because of DNA, why? Not challenging or debating your comment, I’m just confused.

I’m guessing the stuff you heard is true. Bryan is at the courthouse in Moscow, Idaho now, about to face the formal charges. The affidavit has probably been circulating in the court for the past few hours, in anticipation of his arrival, and someone probably leaked it

He left DNA at the scene (supposedly by the knife sheath). That DNA was run against genealogy database and pulled up a relative. They then honed in on him (and he happened to have a White Elantra) and were able to secure HIS DNA during the 4 days of surveillance at his parents home in PA

Knowing what we know now, Bryan was definitely being deceptive. He didn't want that cop knowing anything about the area of the country he was coming from.
The dad, no doesn't seem he was being deceptive.
100% agree

George, don’t come in here and ruin this thread with your crazy conspiracies.

Ah, okay that makes sense. Thanks.
Oh and it looks like several of the OT were correct in their assumption that the IL highway patrol was working with the FBI to get info on this sick frick.

How many times have you been pulled over for following a semi too closely and not given a ticket?
Twice
On the same day. On the same stretch of road?

Looking at his arms, are those bulging veins, scars or just photographic artifact?

Not saying this isn’t true. But if it is correct, why’d they wait a month+ to get his dna from the trash In Pennsylvania? Why not have him under surveillance in Washington/Idaho and grab his trash for a match weeks ago?

I guess they needed the match to come back and the car to connect him.

The murderer's knife sheath was found under Ethan's (male victim) body. This is how the DNA was obtained.
Ethan's legs were sliced all the way down to the hamstring.
One of female victims was stabbed 54 times and her face was beaten so badly that every bone in her face was broken, she was unrecognizable. (I assume this is Kaylee).
One of the surviving roommates came upstairs after hearing loud noises and yelled at the murderer (who she mistook for Ethan) to "shut the frick up". This could be the reason the murderer left in a haste and forgot to grab the knife sheath. Could have been spooked by an unexpected encounter with the roommate.
The white elantra was only identified because a neighbor's cat set off a Ring doorbell camera at the time the murderer was fleeing the scene.
Agents surveilled his parents house for 4 days posing as garbage men, went through the family's garbage to obtain Bryan's DNA for comparison to the DNA found on the knife sheath.
Well damn. Do you know if that’s from a legit source?
The brutality of that description really has me hoping it’s not true, but the sheath being found as the main piece of evidence seems plausible and is certainly interesting.
How awful for the surviving roommate. Can’t imagine thinking the noises you’re hearing are just people carrying on, but it was actually your roommates being murdered. So sad.
Posted on 1/4/23 at 10:45 pm to Vols&Shaft83
If this is true, why did the roommates stand firm that they never heard anything? Unless they told the cops but it wasn’t released for their own safety moving forward until there was a suspect in custody? Sorry if already discussed..

So, if true, this graduate student of criminal justice used a car that can be linked to him. Then put himself in a position to get DNA all over him by using a knife in a messy fashion which he no doubt spread to the car. Especially if he left in a hurry being spooked by a roommate. Which is likely since he left the sheath.
And he very possibly scarred and bruised himself by going overboard adding more evidence against him.
Got damn what an idiot.

Murders aside, this is scary as frick. Even if you’re not a fool who voluntarily gives a dna sample to these FBI front companies like 23 and me, it takes exactly 1 foolish relative to create a link to you and all your family members.

Waiting on DNA results then running it against samples. Takes time.
