Where'd you hear or read that? I knew they said the sole was consistent with Vans, but I never read anything that said he owned a pair.

Believe Kaylee's father said they want the DP. Don't see how the prosecution get around that barring a serious evidentiary problem. Remember the lack peterson case was circumstantial and scott got the DP. I'd say this appears so far to be a stronger case.

I saw some pictures of his attorney at the crime scene with an investigative crew. Can’t imagine choosing a career that requires defending people like this

I’d also like to get to the bottom of this. People were saying she was freaked out yet she had the wherewithal to lock herself in her room for 6+ hours. Wonder if BK watched her run to her room and close the door or what. So bizarre.
I think it's reasonable. She terrified. She is scared to call because he is in the house. However, she is also tired and possibly/probably drunk. She lays down and listens for his to leave but doesn't hear. She is tired and drunk and falls asleep quickly because of this.
When she wakes in the morning, she calls her friend because she is scared. They knock on the door, etc, look in the window with the ladder and then call the police.
I know y'all think it makes no sense, but this is exactly how I would have thought. I would have been scared to move and laid down in my bed with the door locked. Then, too drunk and tired...she fell asleep. She woke up later and then called.

There's a strange dude with a black mask in your house at 4am. You two make eye contact. So you slink back into the bushes like the homer simpson gif instead of calling the police? Makes no sense.

frick! Now they keep notes on you when you go to a bar and have a drink? I guess they only do it if they get a bad vibe from you.
Oh well, all they'll ever write about me is "this old dudes a effing drunk."

I could see this if she was REALLY trashed, which very well could be the case. Otherwise, no way you would fall asleep in this situation.

This has been a headscratcher for everyone. Will be interesting to see how this actually transpired.

I can’t decide if I agree with the simp narrative. I understand that people say only somebody with revenge on their mind could do this amount of violence but that’s not true. I’ll bet he was pinged in that area scouting for that type of party house with attractive women. They are all over that area and winter is the only time you don’t see dozens of people walking back and forth from their houses on campus to off campus parties. I’m guessing he picked the school more so than the girls.

I understand the element of trauma and shock, and the inebriation factor. I also just can’t wrap my head around why she waited 6ish hours to call the police. Assuming she passed out at some point but how can someone fall asleep after hearing what she says she heard, and then seeing an unfamiliar dude in all black with a mask covering his mouth and nose?
I am not blaming the surviving girl. I just can’t fathom why the call to the police took so long.

I just can’t understand on top of all we know about here making contact with him how you don’t hear multiple people scream from getting stabbed to death those aren’t the same screams you hear at a party. It just doesn’t make any sense

I work in an area that see’s a lot of trauma. You would be surprised at how often physical shock, almost a catatonic state, occurs. It’s not always the loud, screaming hysterical response. Sometimes it’s an absolute shutdown if everything but basic breathing/heartbeat/temperature regulation.

I have no idea who created this, but it's incredible. Just got this from Christina Randall's YouTube

I listened to the affidavit on a podcast today. When her words are read out loud it makes it even weirder. She poked her head out 3 times because she knew the sounds weren't "normal" for her house.
The dog was barking like crazy but she thought they were just playing? Hearing a strange guys' voice with her roommate crying. It's just so odd.
I realize people go into shock, and I realize she may have been too scared to call 911 immediately, but the time lapse is what's weird. It seems like she knew he left the house.
IDK, this will all be very interesting as it unfolds.

quote:just figured out that the affidavit has a typo...I believe the officer meant Johnson, WA (15 min from Pullman), not Johnson, ID, which is over 2 hours from Pullman.
It's off the beaten path. And he turned his phone off for hours when he was in that area.
