Maybe we can all make a run to Broussard and rub elbows with the old galloots at Rope Soap and Dope.

Unless it’s under construction, give me Ambassador 10 out of 10 times.
It’s not that bad except for between Johnston and C-S.

Fear not. I was only dropping my housekeeper off. My flight then continued to Le Triomphe.

Lafayette roads/infrastructure are complete garbage & were designed by a bunch of 5 year olds. The worst though is getting off 49 south & hitting stop light after stoplight in the thruway ghetto.
You mean to tell me that the wizards of smart waaaay up north in Shatport, (even Lake Chuck) got it figure out decades ago?!!! At least the Port got 49 North & South, 220 north, 3132 south loop & 2 parkways with nice green space on either side of the river?!! Wtf

I'd rather go down Amb Caff than Evangeline. That might be the most chewed up stretch of main highway in the state

We’re gonna build a loop and make Broussard pay for it

I’m befuddled how anyone could settle for a Big McDonald over a Patricia melt.

In 1978, the members of Foghat were stuck in traffic on Ambassador Caffery Parkway.
That frustrating experience inspired Foghat to write and record one of the biggest songs in the history of rock and roll, Slow Ride. And now you know...the REST of the story.

Maybe Laffy needs a loop.
Do they still have traffic and red light cameras on Camelia?

No thank heavens

The absolute fricking state of this road! The traffic is relentless. It took my driver Hector 25 minutes to get from Johnston to Robley. Incomprehensible. It was so bad i even told Hector to forget about stopping off at Whataburger.
The president-mayor-judge-chief of Lafayette needs to figure this out. Think of the good people of river ranch who have to deal with these layperson heathens driving like banshees on a daily basis. Had me at sixes and sevens!
Sounds like you don't know about the Camellia Blvd cut through?

These scoundrels insinuating that Hector doesn’t know his way around...blasphemous!

No but there’s an a-hole motorcycle cop that likes to radar right of the Camellia bridge

How did the Gurkhas like Lafayette?
Posted on 11/14/20 at 9:48 am to NIH
They were captivated by the Cajundome’s food truck fridays and the white women at whole foods
