25 years ago, there used to be a fair amount of black carpenters, concrete guys, etc. Nothing made white left wingers more excited than seeing all of those jobs go away and be taken by illegals from Honduras.
my parents both worked construction and when I was a kid and went on a job site it was like 90% white aybe 10% black and zero latinos. now I cant imagine it being less than 90% latinos and 10% everyone else.

ICE has not released any information about who were arrested or why they were arrested.
I will venture a guess as to both Who and Why.
Jose Hernandez and it's because he's an illegal alien.

It costs a bajillion dollars to deport illegals
and that’s still cheeper than keeping illegal immigrants here by a significant margin.

For now, I wish they would focus on criminals and other imported vermin. Those who actually work for a living should be a lesser priority.

An easier target.
Law enforcement (local, state, federal) stopped going after real criminals a long time ago.

Oh no, people are being punished for breaking the law.
How can society survive?

It’s far more likely these illegals are paying into social security when reality is they’ll never collect a dime of that money down the road.

quote:quote:Yes because white left wingers are notoriously known to own construction companies that employ illegals because it is easy to exploit someone when they are invisible....it was the liberals hiring them LOL. You can't make this shite up....

He didn’t say they made the hires. He was talking about their support of illegals coming in and taking those jobs from blacks. You are using a fallacy of relevance.
Regardless liberal and leftist elites are very much into making money (and increasing their power) thru diverse ways including some being a part of real estate development and construction. For businesses not required to use e-verify you also can’t believe that its overly difficult to show up with a valid enough looking DL and social security card to fool an hourly HR clerk. These businesses are not just hiring illegals from the Home Depot parking lot for day jobs.
Liberals and leftists support the flood of the illegals into this country, fight using better means of verifying work eligibility for all hires, fight ICE making arrests, fight deportation, support hiding illegals and giving them benefits, support validating illegals by allowing them to get state IDs and DLs, and support illegals voting.
They don’t have to do the actual hiring (even though they do). They created, support, and protect the illegal labor force to hire from for these jobs while driving out the prior workers and new legal ones.

They need to be fined and/or deported for hiring illegals.

I’ve thought about this a lot
Plant the blueberries in an orchard normally like they do in rows then dig a trench down the middle on either side. Put a pvc pipe cut in half down the trench
Take an angular piece of plastic and stick every tree through it like a roof except with trees sticking out all the way down
Take a rope and tie it to the middle of every tree and just hit it with a shaking machine every day
The ripe blueberries will fall off every bush, roll down the roof thing and then you collect them from the pvc pipe
One person could do a blueberry orchard with like 2 hours a day

Do you think that being on a job site doesn’t mean they aren’t receiving any federal or state benefits illegally
So no tax credits ever received or other welfare regardless of coming directly from govt or thru NGOs using taxpayer money including room and board, job placement, kids benefiting from public schools, school lunch programs, or Medicaid especially all of the ones that were arriving daily the prior 4 years under Biden by land, by sea, and by air?
Money paid to them thru fraudulent IDs and SSN #s isn’t theirs in the first place. It’s proof of additional crimes they committed. It also does mean they aren’t collecting other benefits or using other services illegally.

Every single poster in this thread, left and right, seems to be ignoring the underlying issue here. America is (supposed to be) more than just an economic zone.
Yes, we realize blueberries will be more expensive. The message that over half the populace is trying to convey is that we have to stop bringing in outsiders to figure out what and who we are first. If it's just an economic zone, we are not a nation and we will deservedly fall. We need to reach some kind of acceptable consensus about that being "American" really means. Then we can start bringing in outsiders again
