A metric shite ton of labor that is impossible to just replace overnight

FYI this is rich coming from you, a glorified babysitter while a lot of these dudes are out breaking their backs building this country

the right wants the cheap labor, and everyone else gets fricked over by stagnant wages, over run public services, devalued currency, and overall lower quality of life.

Cheaper labor, FAR better quality, and more efficient. Unless its mechanical, electrical, or plumbing, I don't want an American touching it. The difference in workmanship in those Hispanic dominated trades between Americans and Hispanics is night and day. And if you disagree, its evident that you do not work in the construction industry.

Public services are abused way more by different demographic, and I'm not talking ab white, Hispanic, or Asian either.. That's a fact. Tho we should not allow illegals to use any sort of gov assistance.

Yes, I am against illegals being in this country. But I am far more against federal agents raiding my state.

because they crossed an imaginary border to come here to find success.

Just curious, are we the only country that has an imaginary border? Are there times when the imaginary border is real? Can an army just cross the imaginary border and have no repercussions because it's not a real border? Seems like a slippery slope.

I guess when Germany crossed the imaginary border of Poland the rest of the world overreacted.

I can't believe Ukraine is sending men off to fight against Russia. After all Russia simply crossed an imaginary border.

nonsense. Slaves picked cotton, tobacco etc. They built nothing, they were not skilled laborers at all. They may have carried supplies to the actual people building something, but they didn't build shite.

Many probably felt there was an open invitation from the prior administration.

Kick them out first if they are illegals

Didn’t answer my question in the slightest though

Yes, they are people
We have laws and a constitution to abide by. Without either there is no country for the people. Said people would be worse off because of it.
Follow the legal process

It’s a start.

My solution (in obviously a pretty 50,000 foot view) would be reforming the system to allow folks who want to come here an actual opportunity to do so without the rug being pulled out from under them. If they crossed illegally, creating a pathway for them if they legitimately want to be here and contribute to society here. That would include a pathway for those who were brought here by parents before the age of 18. Still getting vetted, still having to follow a rigorous process.

I mean I care because I generally would like my local and federal law enforcement to be vetted themselves if they’re going to enforce shite.

Uh, that's exactly what seeking asylum means. They met with an American official at the border and made a case to ask for protection via entry to the United States. As you J6rs like to say, "they just let them right in!"

No it’s not you fricking idiot. You come to the US with no papers, visas, residency, work permit, etc because you’re facing persecution in your home country. At that point within a year of entering the country you have to apply for formal asylum.

Quite literally the entire point of asylum is you can come here quickly and not have to go through any of the formal administrative bullshite in regards to immigration because you don’t have time.

Are you uneducated on the topic or just a liar to push your political objective?

Can you not read? Why does border patrol allow someone who walks up to the border into the country? What is that process called?

Incorrigible short men are so fricking annoying.

Typical utopian dreamer response without an ounce of realism in it.

Are the ICE agents currently detaining illegals enforcing a citizenship test the illegals during this process? Also, When exactly do illegals get citizenship tests??? Has Biden’s Autopen warped your sense of the legal process to become a citizen?

If the ICE agents are in the country legally including being citizens wouldn’t they have passed “the citizenship steps they’re enforcing”?

You really think people are completing asylum applications walking up to the border on foot?

I mean I’m of the thought that the law enforcement officers should show competency of the laws they’re enforcing.

I’d say the same for a local LEO and local law as well. And civics for politicians.

Does it matter? The INA has very specific requirements to go from being illegal to legal. So if they took the steps why does it matter?

Thought we just wanted people to "follow the law."
