Manasota here (Manatee and Sarasota counties). Same same. The power was out from about 9:00 last night until about 5:00 this morning. But I think that was a planned outage to prepare for the hurricane.

Bradenton checking in. We have some 30 mph gusts right now and some steady rain.

I am in the heaviest rain forecast area and my area looks to be right on the north end of the eye wall according the the update we just got.

There have been a bunch of small tornado like bursts in the bands here in Palm Beach county. I had to turn my phone alerts off last night because it was popping off every 2 minutes like an amber alert. My wife and dog were freaking out.

Yeah. Mrs 45 got an invite from her sister in WV to stay with her. She did not want to do the 14 hour drive. It is going to be tough but we are all going to make it. Stay safe brother
