I work around a bunch of women and I have to stay in an Invisible Bubble

It's not so much the MeToo crap that is a concern, but the fact that these chicks are so moody, catty, and loquacious.
I rarely initiate convo and I keep it bland and light. I know that the women at my job probably either think that I’m a complete a-hole or I, Robot. That's fine by me
That being said, it's really time for a new career.

Fact. When you work with women it is all good until it isn’t.
You can go years joking around and being part of the group. They can even be the ones initiating the jokes and conversations. Right up until the day one of them gets the arse at you over something and reports you. HR, EEOC or the boss isn’t going to ask how long you have been friends or if you normally joke around. None of that matters. The question will be, “did you say or do what is being alleged?” And when you say yes you are done.

That's not a woman problem, that's a management problem allowing this type of behavior in the workplace.

I feel you man. At my previous company all the girls did was gossip to each other and talk shite about everyone else in the department behind their backs. I didn't pay them much mind but it's annoying to always have to be on your guard or else risk being shite talked.
Thankfully at my new position this isn't an issue.

You're absolutely right. Being professional takes care of that problem.

You should begin pointing out that their acting like they are on the rag is making you uncomfortable and creates a hostile environment. No matter what they say, tell them that is racist.

Just be thankful you don’t have periods every month.

Have you never been around groups of women in your life or something?
This shouldn't be a new revelation to you

I once worked in an office where I was the only guy. It was probably my favorite working environment I've ever worked in, but I did quickly learn to not allow myself to be dragged into their petty drama. Guys have petty drama as well, but when there's only one guy the women can turn on you in a second.

Might as well put a few notches on the headboard while going out the door.

I feel you my man. I work in I.T. an had my own office till about 6 months ago when they decided to move me and my co-worker next to the Cube farm that is about 85% female. Most of them are cool but theres a few backstabbers that seem to watch every movement i make and now i watch everything i say and who i say it to because words and actions seemed to be twisted. Thank goodness i only work in office 3 days a week because now its to the point i just get to my desk and hide out My last job i worked in I.T. Shop which was 90% guys and never had any problems with the petty drama it was just the work in general. Now i dont mind the work but have to deal with the lady drama

This. My first job out of college was in an office full of women. I will never forget the first Valentine's day that I worked there. All day long no one received flowers. Then all of a sudden there was a delivery for someone. My girlfriend at the time (now wife) sent me a Cookie Bouquet. There were some angry chicks in the office that day.

That's me in general at work with everyone. All work, don't bring personal life into it. Always steer tangent convos back to work issue, but they chatter all the time about Dr.Oz type shite, relationships, weddings, or vacation plans.
I often wonder if people were able to see how the work place has changed from the 60-70 years ago, would they have still made the choice to let them in.
I'm stuck wearing slacks and a button down (jacket optional) as a vestige of the male dominant workplace, while the girls wear pretty mich anything they want. Purple haired Harvard grad wore "Hawaiian shirt" pants and a "ribbed" stretch t-shirt yesterday while I wore a suit. I joked if I could wear something that comfortable to work, and no one laughed.
For me, I have to keep it work 100% of the time, they can do whatever they want.
We've been understaffed for 3 years due to stacking maternity leaves, FMLAs, and other bullshite that didn't exist before squeaky wheels came into the mix.
