I wonder what happened to the lady in the blue Volvo

Years ago I had a long commute to work through the country, in the dark. Just about every morning at around the same place a woman in a dark blue Volvo sedan would pass me and speed off into the distance. This happened regularly for quite a period of time. One morning down the road after a pass I came up on blue lights and sure enough she had been pulled over.
Anyway, we never met but knew each other in a fashion given our routes in the mornings. Eventually work changed and I never saw her again.
Have you ever had an accidental ‘tradition’ with a stranger that eventually ended, and you wonder what became of the other person?

Every day on the Causeway. They drive in the left lane about 68-70 mph and i pass them on the right every time. One day you think they would figure it out.

There used to be some jackass who always left my office at the end of the day and would weave in and out of the traffic at high speed on a motorcycle going the same direction as me. Maybe he got himself killed.

I was doing a lot of overtime work for a couple of months, typically coming home around midnight. Coming across I-285 at that time of night, in the 90s, was pretty much traffic-free and I noticed a guy on a motorcycle would fly by me every night. One night, he flew past me as usual. About 15 minutes later, I came across him, and an police car. I also saw an ambulance coming fast. They had been resurfacing the road and I guess he hit an unevven spot and lost control. I saw on the news the next day that he was an anchor for CNN.

Years ago, a very old (mid 80's ?) black BMW 5 series would zoom past me on interstate every day. suspension was shot. every little dip the bouncing beemer would oscillate up/down up/down. the gal driving looked like a middle aged hag.

I've had roommates offshore that I never talked to because they were in a different department. This would go on for months. Then they would move on. Never knew their names.

Me and Big Mike at Circle K were on a first name basis for 6 years, I was a 2 pack a day smoker. When I had my cardiac event and quit smoking I had no need to go in there all the time anymore. Over the last couple of years I stopped in to get a Coke or whatever here and there, and he hasn't been there. Nicest dude.

Man in a red raincoat used to walk from somewhere around st Vincents hospital to somewhere on like 6th Ave north in Bham every morning for years and years. Looked like Milton from Office Space.
