I doubt they have many traffic laws there right?

They probably have ban bet laws though.

I highly recommend taking a taxi ride around Jamaica. Better than any amusement park ride I've ever been on.

Hell yeah.

Nothing like passing buses around blind turns while going up and down mountain roads 8 foot wide while speeding.

I drove through Matamores, Mexico a few times. There were no rules, except to say NO to every kid wanting to wash your windshield.

I’m a big fan of the chaos that is Latin America traffic.

I have been in Costa Rica for a week visiting family and the way people drive here in San Jose sucks donkey balls. I’m not even the one driving and makes my head hurt and makes me stressed the frick out.

Been there and done that in San Jose. It's the one with the biggest balls that gets through the intersection.
I have also driven on the mountain roads. The drive is easier but the roads in certain places scared the hell out of me. I will never rent and drive in Costa Rica again.
I have been back 3 times since and always paid a taxi to bring me wherever.

Driving in Los Angeles during a light drizzle makes BR traffic look fast. Took me 3 hours to drive 5 miles cause those fricks can't drive in a light rain

Last year I hit the traffic trifecta. I was in LA, it’s was raining, and the President was in town. I don’t know what I would’ve done without Waze.

I have been in Costa Rica
I have averaged 5 mph on rural roads there in an SUV.

Beirut in 1978 had better roads than many areas of Guanacaste Province have today.

The annoying part about BR traffic is that it is avoidable.

A little bit of state funding and some planning would basically solve most of it.

Try driving from SF to redwood City every day then talk to me about commuting problems.

Between the lane splitters and the constant stop and go I think nuking the entire area would be a muted response somewhere around minute 45 of the drive.
