Who live there now. Pretty cool.

Manitou is a cool little mountain town at the base of pikes peak.

Good looking women, lots of microbreweries, good coffee, good pot.

It’s right outside of Colorado Springs.

I just thought so was neat t meet people from Louisiana in this random mountain town. One lady was from lake Charles and another one from Haughton.

Give it another decade and you’ll have gumbo/jambalaya on the menu of every restaurant in those small towns.

Manitou was one of my favorite places to visit when I spent a summer in the springs. Such a cool little town.

The lady in the coffee shop gave me a free piece of pumpkin seed pecan pie because I was wearing an LSU hat.

So no one has ever left Alabama.
Please name a state that has never had anyone leave.

I'm usually the only one from Louisiana when I'm anywhere.

a homeless guy from kenner was asking for money the other day though.

Was this your first time in Colorado? Something like 40% of people in the state are from other states. It would have been even more amazing if you hadn't met other Louisianans there.

Manitou Springs is was a cool town, though. I went there for the first time this summer.

That doesn’t sound cool at all. If I’m out of the state I’m not trying to associate with Louisiana trash

Yeah the Springs suck and Manitou is a little too close for my liking. Cripple Creek is a cool little town

There was an article on the advocate about how many people are moving from Louisiana to Colorado. Apparently, Colorado is second to Texas as far as states people with college degrees leave Louisiana to go to.
