It’s lame virtue signaling.

Only in Louisiana would they hand out a sticker, supposedly promoting the democratic process, that features a state symbol wearing a royal crown.

Truly they are to remind people to vote but everyone just uses them for attention on Facebook instead.

I hate the “get out and vote” campaigns.
We need far less people to vote. In fact, I support restrictions such as literacy/iq tests, citizens must own property to vote, etc.

I’m just intrigued how people are so eager to show others they voted. I
Forget which country, think it was Iraq, maybe Afganistan, they were piling over each other to show their purple stained fingers. That is how they marked the people who had already voted.
That's the kind of pride that only comes from not being able to have a say in your government. I wish some Americans had to experience that so they get what that sticker is about.

I like this round of stickers better

It’s to let people know you’re an idiot that wastes time thinking voting will change anything.

Some states mandate them to be given out.
The only thing I hate about elections is text messages to vote. Arita Bohannan's campaign was HORRIBLE with this so I voted against her.

To be proud of practicing your civic duties and exercising your rights that many people around the world don’t have.

They're to remind people to vote and if you have to be reminded to vote, chances are you're voting democrat.

I have always been a proponent of only property owners being able to vote on property taxes.
